MGC 2013

Danny Papadatos

I am honoured to represent all Canadians as I move forward in working with the youth of our great nation and strive to visit as many cities of our Provinces and Territories, I hope to inspire and unite Canadians to build a better tomorrow together. We as Canadians have always been in the fore front of human rights movements and progressive implementations of programs. My vision is for us to continue to lead and influence the world and leave a legacy we can be proud of.

After going through the whole competition I can honestly say that it was one of the most rewarding and eye-opening experiences I have ever had and wouldn’t have traded a minute of it. Yes, there were times that I doubted myself. I was up against seven other amazing men, all of which had amazing attributes that would make all of us proud to have them represent us in the world forum.

MGC 2012

Thomas Egli

The Mr. Gay World competition introduced me to the variety of struggles that young gay men face all over the world.  I learned much about people's intentions as well as the value of integrity, and authenticity.  Being a part of the family in South Africa was a realisation that I am part of a diverse worldwide community that shares more than just a sexual preference.

MGC 2010 & 2009

I enjoyed meeting so many great guys from all over the world.  I was able to experience Norway as well as work with HIM on creating a safe sex bar dispenser.

I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to meet some really interesting men from around the world.  I feel I am very fortunate to have had the experience and glad I did it.
